2. Types of data processed
2.1 Navigation data
The computer systems responsible for the operation of the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP addresses, type of browser and operating system, pages visited, time of access, URL of origin and other technical parameters.
The same category includes technical data recorded when the “Menu Finder” quiz on the Site is submitted (IP address, user agent, source URL, date and time). The quiz does not require the entry of identifying data such as name or email.
2.2 Data collected through the reservation system
Cooking class reservations are made through the booking system provided by TrekkSoft AG, which is integrated into the Site via popups. Personal and payment data entered in the booking system (first name, last name, email, phone, credit card information) are collected and processed directly by TrekkSoft AG, which acts as an autonomous Data Controller. Margherita Club S.r.l. receives from TrekkSoft only the data necessary to process the reservation.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
- Provision of requested services (management of reservations, provision of the Menu Finder) – execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
- Fulfillment of legal obligations (tax, accounting, information security) – legal obligation.
- Site security and abuse prevention – legitimate interest of the Owner.
- Statistical analysis and marketing (analytical and marketing cookies, tracking pixels) – consent of the data subject, given via the cookie banner.
4. Third-party tools
The Site may use the following third-party tools, the activation of which is subject to the user’s consent via cookie banner, except for strictly necessary technical tools:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) – tag management, statistical analysis, conversion tracking and remarketing. Privacy Policy.

5. Processing and storage methods
Data is processed with electronic tools and appropriate security measures. The Site is hosted on DigitalOcean servers located in the Frankfurt datacenter (FRA1), within the European Union.
Data are kept for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected:
- Reservation data: for as long as necessary for relationship management and tax obligations (10 years);
- Navigation data and system logs: up to 12 months;
- Data collected through the Menu Finder: up to 12 months;
- Data processed on the basis of consent: until revoked or according to the timeframe specified in the Cookie Statement.
6. Extra-EU data transfer
Some third-party services (Google, Meta, TikTok) may involve transfers of data to the United States. Such transfers take place in compliance with the GDPR, through vendor adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or through Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Data collected through TrekkSoft may be transferred to Switzerland, a country subject to an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
7. Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, request rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, object to processing, receive data in a portable format, revoke consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority(www.garanteprivacy.it).
