Our Values
Tradition
Tradition lives in everyday gestures, in recipes handed down through generations, and in the memories made around a table. It isn’t something fixed in the past… it’s something that comes back to life every time it’s shared.
Lifestyle
Lo stile di vita italiano significa prendersi il proprio tempo, curare i dettagli e godersi i momenti semplici. È un modo di vivere in cui il cibo, le relazioni e il tempo trascorso insieme sono parte integrante della stessa esperienza.
Sharing
Sharing is at the heart of everything we do. The table becomes a place to meet, to talk, to listen, and to share — just like at home with family.
WHY CHOOSE A COOKING CLASS ON LAKE MAGGIORE?
Italian cuisine is now recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage — because it’s far more than a culinary tradition. It’s culture, memory, and a way of being together.
On Lake Maggiore, cooking becomes a chance to slow down and experience the region the way it’s meant to be lived.
Nonna Margherita’s cooking class is made for those who want to go beyond the usual restaurant outing and discover food as something shared — made of simple gestures, unhurried time, and real connection. Here, you don’t just cook: you take part, you learn, you sit down at the table together, and you go home with a memory that truly belongs to the people and the place.
The Kitchen
Our kitchen is designed to feel elegant and contemporary, while keeping that warm, welcoming, family atmosphere alive — an open space that speaks of quality and care, without ever losing the genuine feeling of home and Italian tradition.
Margherita Club
Margherita Cooking Class is part of the Margherita Club — a new concept on Lake Maggiore where sport, food, and experiences come together in a single lifestyle vision. Discover also: Margherita Bistrot, Margherita Sports Hub

The Story of Nonna Margherita
Margherita Cooking Class was born from a genuine passion, passed down through the years thanks to the example of one remarkable woman: Nonna Margherita, everyone’s grandmother.
Margherita was a tireless hotelier who, throughout the tourist season, gave herself entirely to her work. But when the hotel closed its doors and winter arrived, she was never one to slow down.
She would open the doors of her home — and above all, of her kitchen — and cook every single day for her grandchildren, both by blood and by heart. Each one had their favourite dish, and she remembered them all.
In that kitchen, time slowed down. People cooked together, talked, and laughed. Around the table, a deep sense of welcome, family, and belonging came to life.
That spirit is the very heart of Margherita Cooking Class: not just recipes to learn, but a way of being together — of cooking with care, and sharing food as a gesture of love.
